Career Services will be conducting a Career Readiness workshop for students on Wednesday, September 7 at 5:00 p.m.
Career readiness is the process of preparing students with the essential skills they need to find, acquire, maintain, and grow within a job and career. Employers utilize the 8 career readiness competencies to identify skills and abilities that will enable students to be successful across all job functions.
Participants in this workshop will:
- Learn about the eight career competencies;
- Understand how they can incorporate them into their college experience;
- Be able to represent the competencies within their resume, discuss them during an interview, and continue development after graduation.
Please share and encourage students to attend this opportunity to join Shelly Schell, associate director of Career Services, for the Career Readiness workshop on Wednesday, September 7 at 5:00 p.m. in Toner Room 9 or on Zoom.
