The brothers of Per Musicam Amamus are pleased to welcome Chad Cagle back to Saint Mary’s as tonight’s featured Live & Loud performer. A Saint Mary’s and Phi Mu Alpha alumnus, Chad graduated in 2018 with a degree in Music Industry and has remained an active and valued member of the greater Winona community. As a vocalist, guitarist, pianist, recording artist, and composer, he entertains audiences throughout the area with music spanning several decades while also sharing original songs of his own. When Chad is not performing, he teaches piano, guitar, and vocal lessons, accompanies choirs at Masses—including those held in the Saint Thomas More Chapel—and helps maintain properties throughout the Winona area. His continued involvement through performance, education, church music, and service reflects both his versatility as a musician and his commitment to the community. In addition to being an incredibly talented performer, Chad is known as a generous, dependable, and all-around great person who readily shares his abilities with others. Chad is also an accomplished composer and was the winner of the 2017 Iowa State University Carillon Composition Competition for his piece Tango for Carillon. His recorded music is available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and other streaming services. We hope you will join us at 9:00 p.m. in the Fraternity Room (Toner 16) for an evening of outstanding live music!
