In this week’s edition of Data Bytes, the Office of Institutional Effectiveness is pleased to provide an overview of the 2026 fall enrollment data at the College from the 10th day data freeze on September 11th. Below are highlights of the positive trends in fall enrollment, retention and graduation rates:
- Enrollment: Full-time, degree-seeking enrollment is 892 students, an increase of 49 students when compared to the Fall 2025 total of 843. The size of our Fall 2026 first-time, first year student cohort is 294 students; an increase of 47 students over last fall’s 247 first-time, first year students. Fall 2026 College Enrollment Report
- First to Second Year Retention: The first-time, first year student first to second year retention rate is 79.8% for the Fall 2025 cohort to Fall 2026. This represents a slight increase from last year’s rate of 79.4%.
- Graduation Rates: 66.0% of first-time, first year students entering in Fall 2022 graduated in four-years or less, which is an increase of 1.5% from last year’s rate. 64.9% of first-time, first year students entering in Fall 2020 graduated in six-years or less, which is up slightly from last year’s rate of 64.5%. These rates may increase slightly as students may continue to bring in transfer credits to complete their degrees.
