The Cardinals are officially ready for the championships!
This weekend, the Saint Mary’s track and field program is set to compete at the 2026 MIAC Outdoor Championships, hosted by St. Olaf, this Friday, May 8 starting at 2:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 9 at noon.
The Cardinals crowned three individual champions at the Indoor Championships earlier this season, Zari Young, Samantha Munson, and Mya Slavin, and we are looking forward to more titles.
It will be a star studded affair you will not want to miss. We have had plenty of records broken this season and we look forward to what our athletes can do this weekend.
The team is ready to make a push towards nationals as we are just two weeks away. The top 22 individuals of each event will get the opportunity to compete at the NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships, hosted not too far from here at UW-La Crosse later this month.
