On Friday, April 10, seventeen senior nursing students presented their nursing research posters in La Crosse, Wisconsin for the Nursing Research on the Green, the premier nursing-focused event of the tri-state area held annually.

Attending the event were senior nursing students:   Alexis Blackburn, Alaina Botz, Makiah Cook, Kylie Faerber, Ella Fry, Emma Kasella, Genna Loween, Susan Mettler, Sara Miller, Anna Peckosh, Jennifer Rosas, Riley Schiernbeck, Brooke Schilling, Kirsten Sims, Lauryn Skoruppa, Jackie Tomas Coronado, and Mikayla Vasilevich along with their mentor, Dr. Linda Sargent.

The event provides a forum for recognizing and celebrating nursing scholarship, research, and innovation.  Nursing Research on the Green creates a unique platform for experts, scholars, practitioners, and students to come together to share their knowledge, explore new ideas, and advance the field of nursing.

This is the second year that senior nursing students from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota were accepted to present at the Nursing Research on the Green and the only nursing students representing a BSN undergraduate program.  Thank you Dr. Linda Sargent!
