More and more employers are leaning away from the degree and GPA candidates are bringing and look more into the skills they have. According to the Job Outlook 2026 survey, 70% of employers now report using skill-based hiring practices. All students are invited to join Career Services to learn about what skills-based hiring really means, how to adapt materials for it, and what steps they can take while in school to help them stay competitive in this difficult job market.
