The Saint Mary’s men’s hockey team landed a No. 3 seed in the MIAC tournament which allowed them a first round bye. This week, they are set to take on the No. 2 Gustavus Adolphus Gusties on Saturday, Feb. 28 for a 5:00 p.m. puck drop in St. Peters.
The Cardinals had been swept by the Gusties earlier this season, but that was almost any entire different team to the one that is playing in late February as the Cardinals have been looking sharp.
Tonight is the Quarterfinals set up for 7:00 p.m. with Bethel hosting St. Olaf.
The winner of Saturday’s game advances to the MIAC Championship game set for Saturday, March 7 at the highest seeds rink. Saint John’s currently comes in as the No. 1 seed.
