We have a big game at home tonight for the Saint Mary’s women’s basketball team.

The Cardinals look to host their first playoff basketball game since 2016 as they come in as the No. 4 seed of the MIAC tournament hosting the No. 5 Hamline Pipers for a 7:00 p.m. tip off!

The two teams split their regular-season series. On Dec. 10, the Cardinals protected their home court with a 54-51 win, forcing 21 turnovers while Ayla and Kali Olson led the offense with 18 and 12 points, respectively. Less than a week ago, the Pipers answered with a 77-72 win, capitalizing on 22 Saint Mary’s turnovers, despite a combined 50-point effort from the Olson duo.

Today’s contest will determine who moves on.

We need all of Cardinal nation at tonights game. Fans are encouraged to wear white for a white-out theme for the game. On the bleachers we will have white rally towels for the fans to help rally together with the women’s basketball team and free pizza to every student in attendance.
