Don’t judge a book by its cover!
The Fitz Library is bringing back its popular Blind Date with a Book display this February! You can find the display in the main Reference Room. Read the description on the outside of a wrapped book, take a chance on one, and check it out; we have something for everyone! After you finish reading your book of choice, let us know how your “date” went by completing the Rate Your Date form. If you turn it in at the front desk, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a coffee date package.
How it works:
- Read the brief descriptions on the front of the wrapped books and choose a book to take home.
- Bring the book to the front desk and we’ll check it out to you.
- After you’ve checked out the book, unwrap it to officially meet your date.
- Did you love your date? Was your date awful? Let us know by completing the Rate a Date form! Feel free to tag us in your Instagram posts @fitzlibrary.
- Return the Rate a Date form to the front desk of the library to be entered into a prize drawing for a coffee date package, which includes a coffee mug & a $10 coffee gift card. One entry per person. The winner will be notified by email.
The program runs from February 9 to March 9 at the Fitz Library. Be sure to stop in and take a chance on love!
The contest is open to Saint Mary’s students, staff, and faculty.
