Sign up is now available for Cardinal Career Prep being held February 10 – 11, 2026 . This opportunity is designed to significantly enhance our students’ career readiness, and your support is critical to ensure they don’t miss out!

Event Highlights:

  • Virtual and In-Person Mock Interviews: Students will practice with Saint Mary’s alumni and employers, receiving crucial feedback to build confidence and sharpen their interview skills. Virtual mock interviews with alumni are being held February 10 between 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Wednesday, February 11 from 4 – 7 p.m. In-person mock interviews with employers are being held February 11 between 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Résumé Reviews: HR experts will offer personalized advice to help students tailor their  résumés and stand out in today’s competitive job market.  In-person résumé  reviews are being held February 11 between 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

NOTE: The virtual mock interviews are open to all undergraduate bachelor’s and online bachelor’s students.

Why This Event is Critical: Encourage your students to sign up to participate in this essential event to refine their career skills and boost their professional presence. The mock interviews and  résumé reviews will give them practical experience and confidence that are vital for a successful job, internship or graduate school search. This is a unique chance for them to stand out and make a lasting impression on future employers.

How You Can Help:

  • Require student participation for class, provide release time for student employees, offer extra credit, or create competition between teams and clubs.
  • Encourage student participation in BOTH interview(s) and resume review opportunities
  • Share announcements in class, on Canvas, with student employees, at team/club meetings, or during advising—your personal encouragement is the most effective motivator.
  • Share Career Services website https://careerservices.smumn.edu/ containing resources, workshops, & support to help them prepare for interviewing or develop their résumé

What Students Need to Do:

  3. Dress Professionally: Remind them to dress in professional attire (business professional or business casual) and have copies of their résumé
