Housing applications for residential and commuter students for the 2026-2027 academic year open February 1, 2026. Login to eRezLife to complete your application.
The housing lottery and selection will begin on March 30, 2026 with the students of senior class status.
The priority deadline for the housing application and deposit is March 20, 2026. Any student who does not complete the application and deposit by this date will be lower in the lottery than those who meet this deadline. All roommates in the roommate group must have the application and deposit completed by this deadline to receive priority placement in the lottery.

Students who do not meet the initial deadline of March 25, 2026 may not be eligible for the housing lottery. If you are not placed in a time slot or if you miss housing selection, email reslife@smumn.edu.
Any commuter student who wants a meal plan will need to compelte the commuter application.
