As part of International Education Week, one of this year’s most unique global learning opportunities will be highlighted today, a chance to study Tolkien where Tolkien lived.
Stop by the entrance of the Cardinal Club Tuesday from 12:00-1:00 pm for a fun and informative drop-in session about PH 388: Talking Tolkien in England, this spring’s faculty-led travel-study course led by Dr. Joe Tadie and Jeff Halberg.
Dr. Tadie will share course details, answer questions, and walk you through what it’s like to explore the landscapes, inspirations, and literary history behind Tolkien’s writings. Students who enroll will take the 3-credit spring course and then travel to England May 3-13.
