Dr. Pat Costello, a long-term faculty member at the university and an alumnus, peacefully passed away yesterday afternoon. He graduated from Saint Mary’s in 1954. He was a Professor in our English Department and worked for us for 39 years. He is also in our Hall of Fame for basketball.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Costello, who also worked for us for many years and his children and grandchildren.
He was a great teacher and a great man. He will be missed by many.
