The Kabara Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies is excited to announce the winners of the 2025 Kabara Pitch Competition.  The concepts ranged from clothing embellishments to medical devices for scanning, and even a bakery concept focused on cakes.  The judges were able to evaluate the innovation, feasibility, investability, and professional nature of each pitch.  This year led to some very interesting conversations and support for going further with the concepts.

The student presenters were sincere, energized, and passionate about their ideas.  This translated into amazing pitches with a wide range of approaches.  While each student did well, we were able to gain consensus on some stand outs.  Here are the winners:

1st Place $500 –  Rylie Tourtellott: Garden Gumdrops

2nd Place $400 – Julia Koch: KochItUpCakes

3rd Place $300Abigael Neller: Kingdom Designs

Best use of a prop or prototype $150Noelle Buckley

Be sure to stay tuned for more activities and excitement coming from the institute.  We are always looking for ways to creatively engage the entire student population in the potential and power of entrepreneurship!
