2026 Annual Benefits Open Enrollment

Get ready to review your benefits and make your selections for the 2026 plan year!

Open Enrollment is your opportunity to:

  • Review and confirm your current coverage
  • Explore plan updates and contribution changes
  • Make adjustments that best fit your needs for the year ahead

When is Open Enrollment?

The open enrollment period for 2026 benefits is Wednesday, November 12, 2025, through Friday, November 21, 2025.

Elections made during open enrollment are effective on January 1, 2026. Outside of the annual open enrollment period, you may only make changes to your benefits elections within 30 days of a qualifying status change event. The following situations may allow you to make benefit changes if they impact eligibility or coverage.

  • Birth, Adoption or Placement for Adoption
  • Marriage
  • Divorce, Legal Separation, Annulment or Death of a Spouse
  • Death of Dependent
  • Dependent Gains or Loses Eligibility
  • Eligibility Status Change that Causes the Employee to Gain or Lose Eligibility for Coverage
  • Employee Commences Unpaid Non-FMLA Leave
  • Employee Resumes Services after Termination or Leave
  • Change in Residence which Triggers Eligibility Gain or Loss of Eligibility
  • Judgment, Decree or Order Relating to Coverage for Child
  • Enrollment in or Loss of Medicare or Medicaid
  • Loss of Governmental or Educational Institution Group Health Coverage
  • Change in Coverage or Cost
  • Change in Coverage though Another Employer’s Plan
  • Changes in Spouse’s or Dependent’s Employment which Causes Them to Gain or Lose Eligibility

PlanSource Benefits Portal

We’re excited to introduce our new PlanSource Benefits Portal, designed to make reviewing and updating your benefits simple and convenient. (Directions for logging into PlanSource will be posted to our HR community page by 11/10/2025)

Even though this is a passive enrollment (no action required if you’re not making changes), we strongly encourage everyone to log in to:

  • Verify your demographic information
  • Confirm or update your dependent details
  • Explore available benefit options

Hinge Health

Saint Mary’s is excited to announce our new partnership with Hinge Health!

This program is designed to help you conquer back and joint pain, recover from injuries, prepare for surgery, and stay healthy and pain-free. Hinge Health provides personalized care plans to support your musculoskeletal health — including your back, muscles, and joints — and help you achieve your wellness goals.

Participation is free for employees and dependents age 18 and older who are enrolled in a Saint Mary’s medical plan.

Who is eligible for benefits?

Regular full-time employees (0.75 FTE–1.00 FTE) and regular part-time employees (0.50 FTE), as described on page 4 of the 2026 Employee Benefits Guide.

You are invited to participate in one of four virtual open enrollment presentations, which are scheduled as follows:
