Good coaching comes from the heart.”
– John Wooden
Today is National Coaches Day. The day acknowledges the dedication of coaches who foster skills, build character, and inspire personal growth in various sports and activities. In every community nationwide, a coach assembles teams, arranges practices and training sessions, and inspires players to reach their full potential. Simultaneously, coaches identify areas where improvement is needed and provide direction. Every sport needs a leader. More crucially, a leader who understands the game and encourages athletes to collaborate as a team. That leader is the coach.
Take a moment today to thank our Saint Mary’s coaches for their work with our students. They help our athletes every day to achieve their potential as athletes and to become good employees, good spouses, good parents, good community leaders, and exceptional leaders. They coach from the heart.
