Please join us in welcoming Eamon Naughton as the new Director of Campus Ministry and Endowed Co-Chair of the Hendrickson Institute for Ethical Leadership. Eamon comes to us with deep roots in Catholic education and a passion for forming young people in the faith. A graduate of the University of St. Thomas with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Catholic Studies, Eamon has served as a history and Latin teacher at Holy Family Academy and a research assistant exploring the writings of St. John Henry Newman. His academic and ministerial background reflect a strong commitment to the Catholic intellectual tradition and the development of virtuous leaders.
As Director of Campus Ministry, Eamon will oversee liturgical celebrations, peer ministry, retreats, service opportunities, and pastoral care, while also promoting our Lasallian Catholic identity. He will work with both Fr. Kevin Stolt, College chaplain, and Fr. Nathan LaLiberte, SGPP chaplain. In addition, he will serve as the endowed Co-Chair of the Hendrickson Institute for Ethical Leadership, where he will help shape ethical leadership initiatives for our undergraduate students and broader communities in Winona and Rochester.
Eamon recently moved to Winona with his wife, Miriam, and their two-year-old child. They are excited to be part of the Saint Mary’s community and look forward to growing in faith and fellowship with our students. Please stop in at Campus Ministry in Saint Mary’s Hall to say hi and welcome Eamon!
