Madison Kindler majors in psychology and health humanities and hopes to become a clinical psychologist. At first, she was planning to minor in health humanities but decided to double major because she felt the two academic areas paired well.
As she is looking at graduate schools, she is finding that her health humanities major is opening doors she wouldn’t have anticipated, offering a wide range of career opportunities. “Health humanities is a holistic approach,” she said. “There’s a psychological, physical, and spiritual aspect. Health humanities helps us see this is a person, not just someone on a piece of paper.”
