Please pray for the repose of the soul of Archbishop John G. Vlazny, former bishop of the Diocese of Winona-Rochester and good friend of Saint Mary’s University. Archbishop Vlazny passed away on Friday, May 23 at his residence in Oregon at the age of 88. He served as the Bishop of Winona from 1987 to 1997. Arrangements are yet to be announced by the Archdiocese of Portland.
Eternal Rest Grant onto him, O Lord, and may the perpetual light shine upon, May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
