Student Senate Meeting Minutes

President Maggie Newhouse called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

- Off-Campus Meal Plans Offered for Next School Year: 50 blocks, 75 blocks, 100 blocks for meals; can purchase Cardinal Cash
- Adding a New Tender: Flex & Cardinal Cash
- Flex: Comes with meal plan automatically, doesn’t carry over from Fall to Spring, and expires at the end of the school year
- Cardinal Cash: Students can purchase a declining balance onto their flex dollars to their meal plan and will carry over to the next school years. No tax added on.
Budget Request: Culture of Life (Requesting $3,460)
- The club is looking for materials to make baby blankets to donate, advertisements for Fireside and Gaslight, color printing, and money for March for Life in Washington, D.C. for the hotel, flights, and parking for the 2 days they are there.

- Por La Cultura club is hosting La Lotería on Wednesday night!

Class Officer Reports
Sophomores
- Will be selling drinks, chips, and hotdogs at the baseball game on April 5th from 1-3 pm. Come support! Cash only.
Juniors
- Nothing to report.
Seniors
- Gaslight is next Friday at 2 pm and Saturday at 2 and 7 pm.
- Activities are planned for Senior Day! We look forward to a fun day with everyone from the graduating class.
Senator Concerns:
- Jacob: Seminary Open House is next Thursday, April 10th, 4:30-6:30 pm.
