Saint Mary’s Celebration of Scholarship takes place on the Winona campus on Friday, April 11. The day will include over 90 sessions and feature individual and group oral presentations, posters, an Education Showcase, a keynote speaker with the Sciences, and a Sumo Bot Competition.
In addition, we will be hosting an exciting Model United Nations simulation where you will have the opportunity to serve as a diplomat from a foreign country and negotiate solutions to human rights topics involving peaceful protests and the right to privacy in the digital age. It will be an exciting opportunity to develop leadership and public speaking skills while growing your knowledge of important global issues. ALL students are welcome to participate and no prior experience in Model UN is required. Registration (available HERE) is requested to plan country assignments.
If you are not presenting, this is an opportunity to support your peers by attending their presentations. A full list of presentations with times and locations will be posted here closer to the date.
