When Tyler Lafferty came to Saint Mary’s to play hockey, he wasn’t sure what he wanted to study. His passion for sports and business eventually led him to decide on sports management and marketing.
Lafferty is still finalizing his career goals, but he feels the Saint Mary’s community makes the process less daunting. As he navigates his future, he can prioritize his education and enjoy his time on the ice. “It’s a lot of responsibility on your own to figure out the person you want to be, but if there’s a place to be comfortable doing that, it’s here,” he said.
