On March 30th, there will be a trip up to the cities to learn about what it is like to work for The Wild and The Frost, professional hockey teams located in Minnesota.  We will leave campus at 7:30am and return to campus around 5:00pm that same day.

At 10:00 am, we will hear from Taylor Pogreba (SMU Alumnus) who works for The Wild.  We are also hoping to line up a speaker from The Frost.  This program should last about 90 minutes, and then we will attend The Frost game at noon against the Toronto Sceptres.  Then back in the vans for a return to campus.

This event is cosponsored by the PR Business Club, R.I.S.E., and the Kabara Institute.  Vans have been reserved for transportations to and back from the event.  Tickets are $20 each.  Here is a link to Saint Mary’s University Tickets where you can go to purchase a ticket  :https://smumn.universitytickets.com/The tickets will be live on Monday, February 10th at 12:15PM. Students are required to attend the programming at 10 am in order to receive their ticket to the game.  If a student who purchased a ticket misses the presentation, they will forfeit their ticket.  Students don’t need to ride in the vans if they want to provide their own transportation – there is a checkbox as you purchase tickets.

This is going to be a full day event.  Students and staff are responsible for their own food and beverage at the game.  We are excited to provide this exposure to what is possible within the world of sports!
