The Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota community will celebrate Founders’ Day on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 on its Winona campus.
Founders’ Day celebrates the founding of our university by the Most Reverend Patrick Heffron, Bishop of the Diocese of Winona, over 100 years ago and the founding of the De La Salle Christian Brothers by Saint John Baptist de La Salle over 300 years ago.
The Founders’ Day Convocation will honor the Brother Charles Severin, FSC winner, the Brother Louis DeThomasis, FSC winner, our Distinguished Lasallian Educator, and the College 2025 Outstanding Male and Female Student nominees and awardees.
