Your help is needed to support student’s with their internship & job prep.

Winona faculty and staff, your help is greatly needed to get students signed up to receive support on their resume and interviewing preparation. Your encouragement is key to student participation.

Over 20 alumni are offering their time and expertise to provide virtual mock interviews on February 11 and 12 and hiring professionals from the Mayo Clinic – Dept. of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology, Fastenal, Grant Thornton, Gundersen Health System, Benchmark, Nexus Family Healing will be on campus on February 12 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. to offer in-person resume and mock interview sessions to help students prepare for their internship and job search.

Why should students participate?

  • Mock Interviews with Alumni: Students will gain real-world interview experience and receive expert feedback to boost their confidence.
  • Resume Reviews with Employers: Students will learn how to refine their resumes to align with what employers are actively seeking.
  • Career Insights: Past participants have shared how they improved their interview skills, fine-tuned their resumes, and felt more prepared for job opportunities.

Event Details:

  • Virtual Mock Interviews:
    Feb 11: 9 AM – 8 PM | Feb 12: 4 PM – 7 PM (45-minute slots)
  • In-Person Mock Interviews & Resume Reviews at Toner Lounge:
    Feb 12: 10 AM – 3 PM (30-minute slots)

This is a time-sensitive opportunitythe deadline to sign up is February 5 for virtual interviews. We urge you to encourage your students to register now and take advantage of this incredible resource.

We need your support to spread the word and get students signed up by the February 5 virtual deadline.
