New Student Mission Identity Survey

Dear First Year Students,

You are invited to participate in a research study about Catholic Identity MissionAssessment. This study is being conducted by Brian Kusek under the supervision of Dr. Marisa Naryka.

All new students of Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, both undergrad and graduate, are invited to participate. Those who complete the survey may be entered in a drawing to win a $25 gift card. 

There are no known risks if you decide to participate in this research study. There are no costs to you for participating in the study. The information you provide will assist Saint Mary’s understanding how the institution’s Catholic identity and mission is perceived and understood by our new students, provide demographic information and interest on how to better serve the student body as it relates to their spiritual needs and interests. The information will assist in future research on Mission and Ministry at Saint Mary’s. The survey will take about 15-20 minutes to complete.

There are no benefits to you for participation in this study. This survey is anonymous.

Do not write your name on the survey. The survey will not be collecting any personally identifiable information (i.e., email addresses); however, absolute anonymity cannot be guaranteed over the Internet. No one will be able to identify you or your answers, and no one will know whether or not you participated in the study. Should the data be published, no individual information will be disclosed.

Your participation in this study is voluntary. By completing and submitting the survey, you are voluntarily agreeing to participate. You are free to decline to answer any particular question you do not wish to answer for any reason.
