Today all around the Midwest District we invite everyone to take a few moments to reflect on your own vocation. In other words, who are you called to BE (more than what you are called to DO.) In other words,  what were you made for?

Here’s the Vocation Day Prayer:

Lord, God of all hearts,
We give you thanks for planting in our heart the seed of our vocation.
Thank you for the gift of the Lasallian charism that you inspired in Saint John Baptist de
La Salle and the First Brothers. Thank you for the many wonderful Lasallians who, over
time, have made so much good possible.
Today, you call us to take some time to focus on our own vocation.
Help us to discern where you are calling us and who you are calling us to be.
We know that as we follow you with faith and zeal we are never alone, especially as
Lasallians. Finally, help us accompany one another as we seek your will in our lives.
Amen.
