Election Day is on Tuesday, November 5. The voter registration deadline for Minnesota is Tuesday, October 15. If you miss this deadline, you can take advantage of same-day registration during early voting or on Election Day. You can vote early in person now through Monday, November 4. Each state has its own policies around voting. Know your state’s requirements, including voter registration deadlines, before heading to the polls. As a university student, you have the choice to vote the local ballot at either your home residence or at your university. Candidates for President, Senate, House of Representatives, and other local offices are on your ballot this election cycle.
