The Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2024 EduTech Outlook at the Empire Event Center in Rochester on September 27. The event connects education leaders and businesses to provide updates on projects and initiatives, identify workforce needs, and discuss collaboration and engagement opportunities. This year’s event included presentations on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity from Google and Mayo Clinic. Dr. Darren Row, Vice President of Academic Affairs-Winona, was joined on the higher education leadership panel by presidents and a chancellor from Winona State University, Rochester Community and Technical College, and the University of Minnesota Rochester. Student senate president Maggie Newhouse, majoring in Health Humanities and Spanish, was on the student experience panel with students from the same institutions.
