The Office of Campus Safety would like to inform the campus community that the Red Lot parking lot will be closed on Thursday, October 10, 2024, starting at 5 AM. This closure is due to an event scheduled in the lot, which will remain closed until 11 PM on October 11.
For Students:
Students with Red Lot parking permits are advised to use the Day/Overflow Lot (marked in black on the attached image) or the Yellow Lot (located behind Page Theater, marked in yellow on the attached image) during this closure. Once the Red Lot reopens, please return your vehicles to their designated spaces. Be aware that vehicles with Red Lot permits parked in any lot other than the Yellow Lot or the Day/Overflow Lot may be ticketed for unauthorized parking.
For Faculty and Staff:
Please note that this closure will not affect specially reserved parking spots within the Red Lot, such as the Mailroom Golf Cart and Chartwell’s Truck parking areas. However, any faculty or staff vehicles parked in the Red Lot may be towed to accommodate the scheduled event.
