Two members of the Saint Mary’s University Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Beta Beta Beta Biology Honor Society presented their research projects at the National Beta Beta Beta Convention on May 29-June 2, 2024. The Convention was held in Columbus, Georgia on the Columbus State University, Riverpark campus. Emma Schuster won the Frank Brooks award for top oral presentation in the Biomedical Sciences while Megan Drayna was named Honorable Mention for Molecular & Microbiology. As part of the meeting attendees also went on field trips to the Coca-Cola Space Science Center, the Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center and were able to go whitewater rafting on the Chattahoochee River. Also in attendance at the meeting was Dr. Debra Martin, Vice President of the North Central Region. In the picture (left to right) are Emma Schuster, Dr. Debra Martin, Megan Drayna.
