Are you someone who likes to fix and repair used items?  Or do you have items in need of repair?  Phillips Scholar and Saint Mary’s University senior Theresa DeGross is partnering with Winona County Environmental Services for a Fix-It Clinic Initiative.

Fix-It Clinics are events that bring together people with items in need of repair (such as clothing, small appliances, or toys) and people who like to fix them. Guided by knowledgeable volunteers, participants will have the opportunity to learn repair skills for disassembling, troubleshooting, and hopefully fixing cherished or needed items. To ensure each Fix-It Clinic is as valuable a community resource as possible, we hope to secure more repair knowledge and tools in the next few weeks.

If you are interested in attending, assisting, or offering your own expertise in repairing items, please let us know by filling out this survey. The information will be used to plan free, monthly events this summer that help residents share repair skills and save their items.
