Maggie Newhouse will serve as the Student Senate President for 2024-2025. She was re-elected to that position based on votes cast on Tuesday.
She offers the following statement for her fellow students:
Dear Students,
Being elected as the Student Senate President for the 2024-2025 academic year is an honor. I am so humbled that I can hold this position for another year. As your president, I am committed to working on your behalf. I know that together as a community we can work to make Saint Mary’s an even better place. As stated previously, I am ready to create a campus community in which every student has the power to make a difference and cultivate an environment that focuses on student well-being. I want to thank you all for your continued support, and I express my gratitude for the opportunity to grow as a leader.
