Information on the session: To celebrate De La Salle Week 2024, we will explore together how St. John Baptist de la Salle’s “Twelve Virtues of a Good Teacher” are relevant for the flourishing of all Saint Mary’s employees, not only teachers and students. After briefly covering the history and concepts of De La Salle’s 12 Virtues, we will move into practical application and reflection on how the virtues can help us all thrive at SMU. Our time together will conclude with an optional period from 1:00-1:15 pm for Q&A and a quiz for fun. A reflection activity and other learning resources will be provided for use after our session. Attendees may participate as much or little as they wish in the session activities.
