Executive Board Reports

Sophia O’Neil, President
Sophie Cave has resigned from her position as the VP of Multicultural Affairs. With that being said we are going to post a petition in the Saint Mary’s Today tomorrow and have that open until next Tuesday. Please share this with anyone you think would be interested in the position or finish the petition if you are interested in it yourself.

After the meeting today I will also be sharing a form with all of you. This form is a volunteer opportunity to assist SAC with a petting zoo at Cardinal Fest next weekend. The executive board chose to collaborate with them this year so please if you have time to volunteer do it.

I want to remind everyone that Ann is helping everyone get their professional headshots done on the 15th.

Lastly, I want to notify the class officers that I am going to be working with Morgan and Marisa to better educate you all on what you are able to do to fundraise for your respective class and what opportunities you should jump on. My plan is to do this before next semester starts.

Jose Trejo, Vice President of Academic Affairs
A couple weeks ago I talked about how the Provost would like to have an open spotlight for students about issues and miscommunications about phasing out majors. They have met with students one on one, but would like to encourage students to come to allow for a good turnout. A drop box of questions will be put out to see if it is something worth bringing to the student body.

Joseph Schauf, Vice President of Financial Affairs
We have a good sum of money to work with in the capital improvement fund. The club budget meeting is tentatively scheduled for the weekend before finals, an email will go out when that is official.

Riley Hall, Vice President of Public Affairs
Election day, polls close at 8:00 p.m. Election day raffle is happening right now in the game room of Toner. We are continuing Saint Mary’s participation in  MAPCS.

Maggie Newhouse, Vice President of Campus Affairs
Capital improvement forms will be sent out to the student body next week.

Katie Pierpont, Vice President of Student Affairs
Testing center is still closed on Fridays, I am looking to get more information about this by next week. Tomorrow, 6:00 p.m. mug painting in the Hall of Fame room. Thursday,  6:15 p.m., Trivia at Island City. Cardinal Fest is Saturday, 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Fieldhouse, also can be a volunteer opportunity.

Anne Carmean, Vice President of Media and Communications
Headshots next week

Morgan Brown, Executive Assistant
I will be meeting with Marisa about class officer things within the next week or so, so class officers expect to hear more from me within the next two weeks.
